Install Plugins
After installing the Litho theme, a notification will appear in the top of the page which says the theme needs some plugins to function properly.
Required Plugins
Required plugins are very important and must be installed and activated at all times for Litho to work properly.
The Litho theme requires following plugins.
- Elementor: Create a unique website that has a certain “Designer Touch”. Create anything with the extensive tools of Elementor.
- Litho Addons: Extra elements for Elementor Builder. It was built for the Litho theme.
Recommended Plugins
Recommended plugins are those plugins that we use in theme demos and are fully incorporated with Litho. You can select not to install these plugins if you’re not going to use them.
The Litho theme recommends following plugins
- Slider Revolution: This plugin is an all-in-one slide displaying solution that permits you to showcase any type of content that is highly customizable such as transitions and custom animations. This plugin is perfect for most beginners because of its visual oriented interface and infinite customization options.
- WooCommerce: It is a powerful, extendable eCommerce plugin that helps you sell anything.
- Contact Form 7: You can create different contact forms with the help of this plugin. It is also available free on WordPress.org.
- MC4WP: Mailchimp for WordPress: Mailchimp for WordPress: With the help of this plugin, you can add countless subscribers to your MailChimp list by using various methods.
Litho is working perfectly with these plugins. It automatically adds more styles to them to make the design match the theme.
How to Install These Plugins
Step 1: From the WordPress admin, navigate to the Appearance > Theme Setup> Install Plugins. Here you’ll find Litho’s required and recommended plugins.
Step 2: Just click on Install below each plugin’s name.
Step 3: After installing, if it’s required to activate the plugin, just activate them.
Troubleshooting
If failed to install/activate some plugins.
Sometimes, the download process fails on some hosting and some files are not downloaded.
Hence, you can’t activate it. So, you need to navigate to Plugins > Installed Plugins and delete those plugins. Then install them again.
